Sibusiso Ngubane heads up Amahle Amabovu, a company that provides waste collection services in rural areas, the removal of illegal dumps (by collecting paper, plastic, cans and glass) and rehabilitation through landscaping.

Sibusiso’s entrepreneurial spirit was born from doing youth jobs in waste project, the majority of which was initiated by the Department Environmental Affairs. This interest also resulted in him working at KwaDukuza Waste Management as a collection administrator and awareness campaigner.

Sibusiso also played a major role in creating community awareness about waste management by doing awareness campaigns on a voluntary basis for Sikhulile Community Development Organization, a NPO.
