Luko Designs is a Mandeni based fashion house which was founded by Philisiwe Mkhwanazi in 2005. Philisiwe studied fashion design at the Cape Town College of Fashion Design (CTFD). She resigned from permanent employ to further her dream of fashion designing – Luko Designs was born, the name being inspired by her daughter Luko.
Luko Designs offers modern fashion with a distinctive African element, with a touch of fresh trendy colours. Their designs are innovative, feminine, unexpected, and yet very rooted in African heritage.
Luko garments are for the conscious and confident fashionistas – their designs are versatile, ranging from casual wear to haute couture.
