Zandile is the Chairperson of Masisweni Co-Operative.

Having completed her schooling, she worked as a Security Guard whilst completing her studies in Banking. Struggling to secure employment, Zandile created a youth agricultural co-operative in the greater Mandeni area, amongst others with the aim of creating employment opportunities in this rural part of our district.

Masisweni Co-Operative was officially registered in 2018 and now cultivates 6 hectors of tribal land. Masisweni supplies the KZN DOE’s National Schools Nutritional Programme, via Enterprise iLembe, but is in the process of expanding this market.
