South African born Kim spent her schooling years in Zimbabwe and Malawi.  In 1982 she returned to Durban for her studies, and purchased the Sight and Sound Secretarial College franchise in 1983.

Kim and her team grew and expanded this business into the Working World College Group, offering business, computer, secretarial and travel and tourism courses on a full-time, part-time and seminar & convention basis. 

During this time, Kim received numerous awards for business excellence and was recognised as a role model for young and up-and-coming women in business. Working World College Group was acquired by the Learning Corporation as an inclusion in their listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in December 1998.

Kim married Roger Blevin in 1996, and worked together in expanding their respective business interests.

They have three children and live in Salt Rock.

They are currently establishing a unique tourist destination on the KZN North Coast, offering a fascinating range of attractions for families and fun seekers to enjoy!

With her passion for entrepreneurship and marketing, Kim continues to contribute to tourism and entrepreneurship development in KZN.
